The Foreign Minister said human development is the cornerstone of the National Artificial Intelligence Strategy in its first and second phases (2025–2030). The strategy aims to leverage AI applications to enhance government services, promote scientific research and innovation, support startups, empower youth, and build national capacities, while paying particular attention to preserving the Arabic language and cultural heritage and ensuring equitable, inclusive access to technology.
Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and his Saudi counterpart Prince Faisal bin Farhan said recent diplomatic developments should be leveraged to reinforce de-escalation efforts and reduce tensions across the region.
Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty made the remarks during a phone call on Saturday with Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, describing the deal as “an important beginning.”

Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty met with Speaker of the Arab Parliament Mohammed Al-Yamahi on Thursday to discuss ways of strengthening joint Arab action in the face of current regional challenges.
