Several regions across Greater Cairo and other governorates are experiencing significant dust storms on Monday, leading to sharply reduced horizontal visibility, particularly in open areas.
The ongoing heatwave is bringing extremely hot and humid conditions across the country, with southern Upper Egypt—including Luxor and Aswan—experiencing the most intense heat.
There is also a slight chance of light rain over parts of Greater Cairo, with scattered showers expected in Lower Egypt, the northern coast, Halayeb, and Shalateen, along the borders with Sudan.
