The Spokesperson for the Presidency Bassam Rady said the President inspected work progress in the upgrading of Gamal Abdel Nasser Axis, which is one of the major and vital arteries in New Cairo and east Cairo, extending to the New Administrative Capital. This axis is characterized by high traffic density and will be an alternative to the northern and southern Teseen, or 90, Street.

After the upgrading, Gamal Abdel Nasser Axis will extend for about 11 Km, with a width of 45 meters and a total of 6 lanes.
