EMA: Possible rain expected in Greater Cairo, many areas across Egypt on Wednesday

CAIRO – 2 November 2022: The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expects possible light rain in Greater Cairo and other areas across Egypt on Wednesday.

According to a report by the EMA, southern Lower Egypt, Suez Canal cities, and Central Sinai can see light rainfall today.

Light to moderate rain will be more probable in northern coasts and northern Lower Egypt, the EMA noted.

The EMA expects warm weather in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai, northern Upper Egypt, and northern coasts.

Southern Upper Egypt will see hot weather during daytime, the EMA said.

However, nice weather will prevail early at night nationwide while all areas across the nation will see cool weather late at night, the EMA said.

Average temperatures based on the EMA expectations:

- Cairo and Lower Egypt – Highs: 27 - Lows: 18

- Northern coasts – Highs: 25 – Lows: 17

- South Sinai – Highs: 29 – Lows: 21

- Northern Upper Egypt – Highs: 28 – Lows: 16

- Southern Upper Egypt – Highs: 30 – Lows: 18
