The streets of Imbaba were full of thousands of fasting individuals gathered on Al-Etimad Street and 42 of its side streets for one of the largest communal Iftar meals for more than 20,000 individuals, Youm7. The festive atmosphere was further enriched by the participation of local residents, who actively contributed to organizing the event and welcoming guests.
Residents of Cairo’s Imbaba neighborhood are finalizing preparations for a massive communal iftar this Friday. Marking a historic first for the area, the event is expected to serve more than 20,000 meals at a single, continuous table.
