President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi met with Chadian President Mahamat Idriss Déby on the sidelines of the Africa-France Summit in Nairobi to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation.
Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport Kamel El-Wazir affirmed that the Egypt-Chad road represents a strategic axis.
The two ministers discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations and exchanged views on issues of mutual interest, said the Egyptian Foreign Ministry in a statement on Sunday.
