The ambassador also affirmed Egypt's persistent support to Mali on the front of combating terrorism.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production emphasized his pride in the strong ties between the Egyptian and Malian armed forces. He expressed a desire to further enhance these relations in ways that serve the shared interests of both nations.
In a joint press conference with his Malian counterpart, Abdoulaye Diop, Abdelatty stated that Egypt has successfully developed a model for combating terrorism, which can be emulated by other countries. This model focuses on several key areas, including security and social and economic strategies. The approach comprises providing job opportunities for young people, dismantling extremist ideologies, and cutting off the financial support that sustains terrorist organizations.
The two ministers will discuss the most important files of common interest and the most important international issues, the statement added.
