In a statement, the ERC said the convoy delivered 3,290 tons of aid to Gaza, including 1,180 tons of food baskets, 650 tons of relief materials, and 1,460 tons of petroleum products to support hospitals and other vital facilities in the strip.
Organisers say the initiative seeks to draw renewed international attention to Palestine.
The convoy comprised 52 trucks carrying nearly 780 tons of food and essential living supplies, aimed at supporting vulnerable families and meeting their basic needs during this critical period.
The shipment, prepared by the Turkish Red Crescent Society, includes food supplies, hygiene kits, clothing, shelter materials, and items for children.
The crossing is expected to reopen in the coming days to allow the movement of Palestinians into and out of Gaza after months of Israeli blockade during a deadly war that pushed the enclave toward famine.
The 117th convoy transported over 8,080 tons of comprehensive humanitarian supplies, including more than 4,830 tons of food baskets and flour, around 1,385 tons of medical and relief items including essential medicines, and 66 tons of personal care supplies.
Egypt has called on the international community to intensify efforts to ensure the full delivery of humanitarian, medical, and relief aid to Gaza.
The Egyptian Red Crescent convoy, titled "Zad Al-Izza... From Egypt to Gaza" consisted of dozens of trucks transporting more than 9,000 tonnes of urgent humanitarian assistance to the enclave.

The convoy is delivering essential relief supplies to Palestinians affected by the ongoing Israeli war in Gaza, which has damaged basic facilities including bakeries and hospitals, depleted the resources of the enclave and sent the enclave on brink of famine.
