CAIRO – 21 December 2025: The Egyptian Red Crescent (ERC) on Sunday dispatched its 98th humanitarian aid convoy to the Gaza Strip, carrying thousands of tons of food, medical supplies and fuel.
Meanwhile, Palestinian media reported that Israeli attacks killed several Palestinians despite a ceasefire being in place.
The ERC convoy, titled "Zad Al-Izza... From Egypt to Gaza" consisted of dozens of trucks transporting more than 9,000 tonnes of urgent humanitarian assistance to the enclave.
The aid included around 4,000 tons of food baskets and flour, more than 3,500 tons of medical and relief supplies, and over 1,500 tons of petroleum products needed to sustain essential services in Gaza.

With Gaza experiencing harsh winter weather, the convoy was reinforced with winter relief items, including 4,700 blankets, more than 90,000 pieces of winter clothing, over 5,000 mattresses and around 7,800 tents to shelter displaced families.
Despite the ceasefire, Israeli forces killed three people today in Israeli strikes targeting the Shujaiya neighbourhood in eastern Gaza City.
The reports also said Israeli forces carried out multiple raids in cities and refugee camps across the occupied West Bank.
