President of Sudan's Sovereignty Council Abdel Fattah Al Burhan hailed the strong relations with Egypt as historic and specials in a meeting with the Egyptian civil society delegation on Thursday.
Chairman of Sudan’s Transitional Sovereign Council Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan said that “the eternal relations between Egypt and Sudan and the sustainable ties are the focus of all discussion and meetings between the officials of both countries”.
Egypt and Sudan affirmed the need for joint work to ensure that the ongoing global developments do not harm efforts to support Sudan’s path toward achieving political, security, and economic stability.
Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi held discussions on Wednesday with Chairman of Sudan’s Transitional Sovereign Council Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan in a meeting in Cairo.
Sisi extended the Egyptian government and people’s condolences to Sudan and the families of the victims of the floods that swept a number of Sudanese states, the Egyptian Presidential spokesman Bassam Radi said.
The Congolese initiative is currently being studied by the relevant authorities
Egypt’s Intelligence Chief Abbas Kamel visited Khartoum Monday where he discussed GERD, wide-scale cooperation and regional developments with top Sudanese officials.
Sisi greeted Burhan on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the country’s independence, affirming support to Sudan.
