Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk decided to issue more commemorative coins for the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) to meet the growing demand for them inside and outside Egypt.

During the meeting also, President Sisi underscored the need for the event to showcase not only the grandeur of this monumental cultural project, but also the scale of Egypt’s broader achievements and development across various sectors, consistent with the country’s rich civilizational heritage and its stature on the global stage.
Sisi made the remarks during the opening of the fifth edition of the Aswan Forum for Sustainable Peace and Development, titled “A World in Flux, A Continent in Motion: Navigating Africa’s Progress Amid Global Shifts” on Sunday.
