Theater Art House
The commemoration presents a vision highlighting the most important works of the late Salah Abdel-Sabour.
On the second day of Eid al-Adha, Head of the Theater Art House Ismail Mokhtar will launch the new theatrical show “Saydet al-Fajr” [The Lady of the Dawn], written by Spanish writer Alejandro Casona and directed by Osama Raouf.
Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem handed over the graduation certificates to graduates of the third batch of the "Start Your Dream" workshop, and announced the launch of the fourth batch of the workshop.
Director of Al-Talea Theater Troupe Adel Hassan announced that Al-Talea Theater is receiving requests for membership in the Al-Talea Theater Club as of May 30 at 5 p.m.
The program set by the Ministry of Culture includes online broadcasts as part of the initiative ‘Culture is Between Your Hands”, as well as live performances in theaters and open areas.
Head of the Theater Art House Ismail Mukhtar said that this year the Theater Art House offers its audience 10 theatrical performances between Cairo and Alexandria, starting from the second day of Eid al-Fitr.
The play revolves around a group of individuals representing different segments of the Egyptian society, travelling inside a bus heading to Sharm El-Sheikh.
It is noteworthy that the show is presented for the fourth year, as it was first performed in 2017 and witnessed a remarkable public turnout.
The play is written by Safaa al-Beyali and directed by Mohammed Saber.
Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem will announce the plan for the “Confrontation & Roaming Theater” for 2021 during the ceremony set to be held by the Artistic House on February 24 at 7 p.m. at the National Theater in Attaba.
It is noteworthy that 1560 applicants applied for the acting workshop and 28 applicants applied for the directing section.
The final list of accepted candidates for acting and directing will be announced on February 2, 2021.
On January 28 at 7:30 p.m., the Al-Ghad Theater in Agouza will witness the last performance of the theater show "Ganet Hana" in its first edition.
Head of the Theater Art House Ismail Mukhtar, said that the performances of the Theater Art House will return to its theaters again, starting January 7, which coincides with the celebrations of Christmas.
The Artistic House of Theater announced that November 30 is the deadline for receiving applications for those wishing to enroll in the fourth batch acceptance tests of the free "Start Your Dream" workshop.
The first night of the theatrical performance "Abi Taht el-Shaggara" [My Father Under the Tree] will launch on November 12, in Al-Salam Theater at 8 p.m.
The Theater Art House continues its various artistic performances in Cairo.
Abdel Dayem said that the Egyptian Author Initiative Forum aims to produce pure Egyptian theatrical performances that have not previously been presented to support and enrich Egyptian theater.
The El-Hanager Square Theater in Cairo Opera House will present the theatrical show “Kaenak Tarah” [As If You See Him] on July 20 – 21 at 7 p.m.
