'Confrontation & Roaming Theater' announcement ceremony to be held on Feb. 24 - Social media

CAIRO – 22 February 2021: Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem will announce the plan for the “Confrontation & Roaming Theater” for 2021 during the ceremony set to be held by the Artistic House on February 24 at 7 p.m. at the National Theater in Attaba.

 

 

The announcement will be made in the presence of Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Social Solidarity Nevin el-Qabbaj, Head of the Cultural Production Sector Khaled Galal, and a number of leaders from the Ministry of Culture, concerned ministries, artists and media professionals.

 

 

During the ceremony, Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem will honor the teams that participated in the 2019-2020 performance plan.

 

 

A documentary film about the achievements of the “Confrontation and Roaming Theater” since its establishment as a division of the Modern Theater Company in 2018 will be screened, in addition to lyrical performances by Fatima Mohammad Ali and Wael el-Fashni.

 

 

It is worth noting that the “Confrontation & Roaming Theater” in the Theater Art House specializes in producing roaming shows in the governorates and the organization of tours for the Theater Art House.

 

 

It succeeded in presenting 250 nights of shows, enjoyed by more than 350,000 viewers in various centers, villages and hamlets across Egypt, during the year 2019 only.
