An increase in the number of the hot-air balloon rides has been witnessed, where more than 60 rides flew over the past week in Luxor city, Upper Egypt.
Egypt’s Ambassador to Berlin Khaled Galal said that the number of tourist flights coming from Germany to Hurghada will increase in March.
The announcement came one day after Egypt reopened its aerospace for Qatar to resume air traffic with Doha following a 3-year hiatus due to the Gulf crisis.
Egypt reopened its airspace with Qatar on Tuesday and announced the resumption of flights between the two countries.
The UAE will cooperate with Qatar to settle down all the disputed issues through talks, Belhoul noted.
Themed “Spend Winter in Egypt”, the initiative should go into effect as of Friday, January 15 and will last until Sunday, February 28.
This comes few days after the Egyptian flag carrier, EgyptAir, announced resuming flights returning from the Kingdom
“Egypt Air announces suspending flights between Cairo and Muscat until the end of the suspension period or its [probable] extensions,” the Egyptian flag carrier said.
Flights to and from Saudi Arabia have been suspended as of Monday for a week, subject to extension, according to an EgyptAir tweet.

The tourist flights will be operated from Prague to the cities of Sharm el-Sheikh, Hurghada, and Marsa Alam.
The company will operate three flights to Dubai, in addition to two flights to Abu Dhabi, Jeddah, Riyadh, and Dammam.
EgyptAir airlines will operate on Sunday 38 flights to carry 5,000 passengers to 24 destinations.

Egypt’s state-owned flag carrier EgyptAir announced resuming direct flights between Cairo and Accra in Ghana at a rate of two flights per week as of Thursday.
