These remarks were made by Abul Enien during his welcoming of 40 students of postgraduate studies at the French Sorbonne University as they paid a visit to EgyptAir administrative building along with making a tour of the cargo village at Cairo International Airport.

They were briefed on the huge potentials of the Cairo Airport cargo village, which is a key axis in the air shipment movement.

Abul Enien said EgyptAir has 70 mega passenger planes which could carry amounts of cargoes along with three cargo planes with each has a capacity of 60 tons.

Meanwhile, Chairman of EgyptAir Cargo Company Ahmed Shahin reviewed the leading role played by the company in the air shipping according to recommendations and standards of The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and The International Air Transport Association (IATA).

Shahin noted that the company has recently made a remarkable success in the air shipment movement despite the coronavirus crisis, adding that the company is seeking to adopt a new strategy to increase its fleet and develop its information technology infrastructure to cope up with the e-commerce movement worldwide.
