Egypt extended condolences to Serbia on Thursday over the “shocking” shooting in a school in the capital, Belgrade, which killed nine, including eight children and wounded others.

The tragic incident has left scores of people dead and wounded and damaged facilities, homes and infrastructure in the area.
“The Arab Republic of Egypt expresses its sincere condolences and sympathy to the government and people of the friendly People's Republic of China over the crash of a passenger plane in the south of the country,” the Egyptian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
