Egypt’s Sisi Offers Condolences to President of UAE for death of Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed

CAIRO- 27 July 2023: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi expressed his condolences for the death of Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed, the UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s brother.

“I extend my sincere condolences to the United Arab Emirates and to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, for the passing of his brother, Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed, the Representative of the Abu Dhabi Ruler, who served his country with dedication and played a fruitful role in strengthening the bonds between Egypt and the UAE,” President Sisi said.

“May God envelope the deceased with mercy, place him in heaven and grant his family and loved ones patience and solace. May God preserve stability and prosperity for the brotherly people of the UAE,” he added.

The UAE Presidential Court mourned the death of Sheikh Saeed on Thursday and announced a three-day mourning nationwide, WAM reported.
