Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi pardoned, Friday number of prisoners whom been issued final judicial rulings against them.
Member of the Presidential Pardon Committee, and Member of Parliament for the Coordination's Committee of Parties' Youth Leaders and Politicians (CPYP), Tarek al-Khouly, said, Wednesday that new patch of pardoned youth will be released within hours.
Egyptian authorities will release “within hours” a new batch of youth who have received a presidential pardon, MP Mohamed Abdel Aziz, a member of the Presidential Pardon Committee and deputy head of the House of Representatives said on Monday.
“Anyone represents threat to Egypt’s national security will not be allowed to be released, this is one of the committee’s main pillars” Tarek al Khouly said.
