Nine people were killed and four were injured as a microbus crashed and caught fire on the Middle Ring Road in 6th of October City in northern Egypt’s Giza governorate late on Wednesday.
The ruling is appealable and is not final.
The deceased are two girls, 11 and 15 years old, eye witnesses told Youm7.
Egypt’s Foreign Ministry expressed grief over the victims of Thursday deadly crash between a bus and a truck on the Aswan-Abu Simbel road, 100 kilometers south of the Upper Egypt governorate of Aswan.
A truck and a tourist bus crashed on Wednesday, causing the death of five Egyptians and five foreigners (four French tourists, a Belgian national), according to officials. The crash also wounded 14 people, including tourists from France and Belgium.
A bus collided into a microbus along Suez-Tor Sinai highway due to a tense fog. The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) warned, on Friday, that a blanket of tense fog would cover large areas of Egypt.
The statement added that 17 people of the injured have been discharged. Meanwhile, 5 patients, including two children, are still receiving treatment and two others are in intensive care.
According to the initial investigations, the bus, which was traveling from Egypt to Sudan via land roads, collided with a truck loaded with cement.
The van turned due to high speed; 43 passengers suffer minor bruises and cuts. The passengers were transferred to several hospitals northern Qena, and most of them are in stable conditions.
The accident happened on Firouz Kooh mountaineer road in Mazandaran province on early Thursday.
All injured students were admitted to a near hospital for receiving immediate health care. Meanwhile, an investigation was launched into the incident.
The accident, which took place in Damanhor, Beheira, damaged seven cars, including two cars that appeared severely destroyed.
According to the initial investigations, the accident took place due to an explosion of a pick-up truck’s front tires.
Two of the dead people are a 6-year-old Egyptian boy and a 6-year-old Iraqi girl, while the third victim is an Egyptian woman at the age of 30.
