President El-Sisi expressed his appreciation for the UK’s positive stance on the Palestinian issue and developments in Gaza.
The ministers also exchanged views on the latest developments concerning various regional issues of shared interest in both the Arab region and the African continent. They agreed on the importance of continuing coordination and consultation in the coming period.
Sisi and Ibrahim affirmed the need to intensify international efforts to establish the Palestinian state along the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

A number of regional and international issues of common interest were also discussed in light of the historical friendship between the two countries, Abu Zeid added.
The two leaders’ call “touched on a number of issues pertinent to the outstanding bilateral relations between Egypt and Algeria, within the framework of the two countries’ keenness on continuing efforts toward expanding and deepening the various fields of cooperation so as to boost the common interests of the two countries and their peoples,” Fahmy said.
Anastasiades also affirmed his country's firm commitment to continuing to strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries, under the leadership of the elected President Nikos Christodoulides.
They also exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest and cooperation to address climate change, in light of COP27 Egypt is hosting next November in Sharm El Sheikh.
