Saudi king receives phone call from Russia’s Putin

RIYADH – 21 November 2017: Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz al Saud on Tuesday received a phone call from Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

During the phone conversation, they reviewed ways to foster the distinguished bilateral relations in addition to the latest regional developments.

Also, King Salman and Putin have probed means to strengthen joint cooperation to combat extremism and terrorism, in order to bring about regional security and stability.

The two leaders also talked about mutual efforts to stabilize energy markets.
