Rashad emphasized Egypt’s firm commitment to ensuring the success of the committee’s work and providing full support to enable it to carry out its assigned responsibilities in Gaza.
Egypt and Jordan on Saturday stressed the need for full adherence to the Gaza ceasefire agreement and the implementation of all its provisions in line with the plan put forward by US President Donald Trump.
Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty highlighted Egypt’s efforts to advance the next phase of US President Donald Trump’s plan for Gaza in a phone call with European Commissioner for the Mediterranean Dubravka Šuica on Friday.
The board, to be chaired by Trump, would oversee Gaza’s reconstruction and supervise a future Palestinian technocratic administration, with invitations sent to key countries to participate.
In a phone call with UK’s Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper on Saturday, Abdelatty highlighted the duties of the anticipated ISF in monitoring the ceasefire in Gaza and protecting civilians under the UN Security Council’s recently-adopted Resolution 2803.
Badr Abdelatty made the remarks during a panel at the Doha Forum alongside the foreign ministers of Spain and Norway and a senior Saudi foreign ministry official.
Abdelatty outlined Egypt’s position on regional crises, placing the Palestinian cause at the forefront.

“If the Arab countries have a better plan, then that’s great. Then they say they do, they’re going to come up with it, we’re going to look at it, see what it’s regarding and what it does,” Rubio said.
