The strike came as the United States and Iran move closer to an agreement to extend a ceasefire that is reportedly expected to include Lebanon and pave the way for ending the war.
Israel’s medical emergency service MDA reported at least 64 people injured people, including seven in serious condition.
Israeli forces have carried out nearly daily attacks despite the ceasefire.
Israel justified the attack over alleged Hamas violation of the ceasefire.
Funeral prayers were held at the Mohammed bin Abdulwahab Mosque in the Qatari capital.
Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba on Friday condemned Israel's attack on Iranian nuclear and military targets, while vowing to work with other Group of Seven members to ease tensions in the Middle East, Kyodo News said.
“The enemies, whether the Zionist regime or the United States of America, will definitely receive a crushing response to what they are doing to Iran and the Iranian nation and to the resistance front.”
Additional reports from the Gaza Strip indicate that Israeli warplanes targeted a residential building in the Tal al-Sultan area of Rafah, leading to casualties among civilians.
