Kuwait condemns terrorist plot against Mecca's Grand Mosque

KUWAIT CITY - 24 June 2017: Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah al Ahmad al Jaber al Sabah sent a cable to Saudi King Salman bin Abdelaziz to express Kuwait's strong condemnation of the terrorist scheme against the Grand Mosque in Mecca city.

In his cable, the emir said that this terrorist plot contradicts the teachings of Islam and all religions and human values.

He also voiced his country's support for all measures taken by the Saudi Kingdom to maintain its security and counter terrorist plots.

He reiterated Kuwait's condemnation of all acts of terrorism and support for international efforts to fight terrorism and dry up the funding resources of terrorism.

The Kuwaiti emir also lauded vigilance of the Saudi security forces that helped foil this terrorist plot.
