Condemnation
In separate statements, the Egyptian foreign ministry expressed solidarity with Kuwait and Bahrain in the face of the attacks, backing all measures taken by them to protect their people, safeguard their security and their vital infrastructure.
Egypt affirmed its full solidarity with and support for Kuwait in confronting these attacks, which threaten its security, stability, and the safety of its citizens. It reiterated its firm and unwavering position that the security and stability of Kuwait and all Gulf states constitute an integral part of Egyptian and Arab national security.
The foreign ministers of Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan, Türkiye, Pakistan, Indonesia, Djibouti, Somalia, Palestine, Oman, Sudan, Yemen, Lebanon and Mauritania denounced the move in a joint statement on Sunday.
The Egyptian foreign ministry said in a statement that the move represents a blatant violation of international law and relevant international legitimacy resolutions, and a direct infringement on the legal and historical status of Jerusalem.
A drone targeted a cargo vessel sailing from Abu Dhabi, while in Qatari waters northeast of Mesaieed Port on Sunday, according to the Qatari defense ministry.

The foreign ministers of Egypt, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Pakistan, Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar warned that the legislation marks “a dangerous escalation.”
The House of Representatives and the Senate described the security of the Arab Gulf states and Jordan as integral to Egypt’s national security.
A suicide bombing claimed by the Islamic State (ISIS) terrorist group struck a mosque packed with worshippers in Islamabad during Friday prayers last week.

Egypt’s remarks, conveyed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, come after the Israeli military announced on Wednesday starting its globally-condemned operation aimed at taking over northern Gaza’s Gaza City and imposing security control over the entire enclave.
Egypt reiterated that Israel’s ongoing policies of starvation, systematic killing, and genocide against the defenseless Palestinian population will only serve to fuel the conflict, escalate regional tensions, deepen hatred, and promote the spread of extremism. Cairo emphasized that these developments are further exacerbated by the brutal Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and the unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe it has created.
Israel struck Syrian armed forces that had been dispatched to the Syrian southern city of Sweida, near Israel, amid deadly clashes between Druze fighters and Bedouin tribes early this week.
Cairo, also, reiterated its warning of the dangers of the region sliding into further chaos and tension. It affirmed that political solutions and diplomatic negotiations, not military action, are the only path toward resolving the crisis and achieving a lasting settlement.
“Egypt is following these rapid developments with deep concern and firmly denounces this unjustified act, which will only exacerbate the crisis and risks triggering a broader regional conflict. Such escalation could have unprecedented consequences for the region’s security and stability, endangering its peoples and threatening to plunge the entire Middle East into widespread chaos,” Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement..
