President Sisi sees off Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed after concluding fraternal visit to Egypt

CAIRO – 27 August 2025: UAE’s President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed has concluded a fraternal visit to Egypt and President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi bid farewell to him this morning at Alamain International Airport.

The visit came as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the close ties between the two nations’ leaderships and to affirm the importance of continued consultation and coordination in support of the interests of both peoples as well as the stability and security of the region, the Egyptian presidency said in a statement.

Sisi expressed his deep appreciation for Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, emphasizing the historic depth of the Egypt-UAE relationship.

In turn, the Emirati president conveyed his sincere gratitude to Sisi and the Egyptian people for the warm reception and generous hospitality.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed commended the steady growth of bilateral ties across various sectors, reflecting the shared destiny and common vision the two countries hold in facing regional challenges.

Sisi warmly welcomed the Emirati leader upon his arrival at the Alamain airport on Monday, highlighting the special regard Egypt holds for him and the Emirati people.

The presidency on Monday underscored the enduring bond rooted in the legacy established by the late founding father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, whose memory remains deeply cherished by the Egyptian people.
