10th Of Ramadan Victory
The celebration was attended by many commanders, officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers, along with senior religious figures from the Ministry of Awqaf and Al-Azhar.
“On the 10th of Ramadan, Egypt’s heroes inscribed an eternal epic. They fought the battle with faith and steadfastness while fasting, and their sacrifices were crowned with victory. A profound salute of pride and honor to those who forged glory,” the First Lady said.
“On the anniversary of the glorious 10th of Ramadan victory, we draw inspiration from the heroism of our armed forces, embodying the spirit of determination, planning, and resolve to reclaim rights and hold onto them. This adds a brilliant page to the records of our national history,” said President Sisi.
“Today, we remember together the anniversary of the 10th of Ramadan victory, a patriotic battle that reflects Egypt’s precious value in the consciousness of its people,” Amer said in a Facebook post.
The 10th of Ramadan victory corresponds to October 6 War, 1973 where Arab countries led by Egypt and Syria defeated the Israeli forces mostly in Sinai and the Golan.
During the celebration, the sector will honor a group of Egypt’s Armed Forces heroes, and a number of artists who have presented patriotic artworks.
