Sotheby's International Auction House, in London, sold a statue of the late Egyptian sculptor Mahmoud Mukhtar, titled “Ibn el-Balad” {Son of the Country}, in an auction entitled "20th Century Art / Middle East".
Among the museum's most important holdings exhibited at the “Online Museum” is the work of artist Mahmoud Mukhtar.
