Health System
The ongoing war on the Gaza Strip has created a worsening health crisis, depriving cancer and chronic disease patients of continuous treatment and leading to the spread of diseases and epidemics.
The Spokesperson for the Presidency, Ahmed Fahmy, said the meeting reviewed the development of the health system throughout the country.
He added that the government has launched many health initiatives such as the "100 Health Initiative" and the "Women Health Initiative".
He reiterated on Thursday that the Egyptian health system has rapidly responded to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus through carrying out medical tests and providing care for patients.
