Maait: Egypt seeks benefiting from int'l experience in health system

CAIRO - 16 September 2020: Minister of Finance Mohamed Maait said on Wednesday that the government is keen on benefiting from international expertise in applying the comprehensive health care system in Egypt.


At a meeting with Representative of the World Health Organization Naeema Al-Gasseer, he added that health care in Egypt is one of the important pillars for achieving social and economic development.



He added that the government has launched many health initiatives such as the "100 Health Initiative" and the "Women Health Initiative".



He reviewed steps for implementing the comprehensive health care system which is one of the national projects in Egypt, noting that it started in Port Said and will be applied nationwide.
