Flight Suspension
The national carrier said the affected routes include Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Beirut, Doha, Amman, Dammam, Bahrain, Baghdad, Erbil and Kuwait.
In an official statement, the airline said the suspension will remain in effect until weather conditions improve.
The ministry urged Egyptians to show solidarity towards stranded citizens abroad and announced means of communication with the ministry.
The flight suspension decision is inactive until April 15, as part of the country’s plan to combat the spread of Coronavirus.
The UK government announced Tuesday it lifted flight restrictions, and no longer advises airlines against flying to Egypt's Shark el-Sheikh Airport.
