US Embassy in Egypt
Ambassador Herro Mustafa Garg was sworn in on Tuesday as the new US Ambassador to Cairo, the US State Department’s Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs announced today.
The US Agency for International Development (USAID) has delivered 250 “highly specialized” ventilators to Egypt as a donation for intensive care units in the northeastern African countries, the US Embassy in Cairo said in a statement.
El Gouna Film Festival and the US Embassy in Egypt presented an important screenwriting workshop to twelve uprising filmmakers.
The event, presented by Film Independent and the U.S. Embassy in Egypt, was moderated by Lebanese producer Myriam Sassine.
US Embassy in Egypt and the American Center in Cairo will be closed on Monday, Dec. 24 and Tuesday, Dec. 25.
