Official Visit
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi arrived on Wednesday in Entebbe at the start of an official visit to Uganda.
President also praised the convening of the High Coordination Committee on Water Issues, co-chaired by the two prime ministers, describing it as an important mechanism for aligning positions and safeguarding the interests and rights of the two brotherly peoples.
Idris is scheduled to hold meetings with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly.
During the visit, Dr. Madbouly held bilateral talks with the Lebanese prime minister at the Grand Serail (Government Palace). The two sides also co-chaired an expanded meeting attended by the delegations of both countries.
During the visit, he is also scheduled to hold bilateral talks with several senior Mauritanian officials to exchange views on regional challenges and issues of mutual concern, as well as to explore avenues for strengthening economic and trade relations between the two countries.
Madbouly is scheduled to meet with several high-level Kuwaiti officials to explore avenues for enhancing cooperation across various sectors.
During his visit, Abdelatty is expected to engage in discussions with senior Russian officials to explore ways to advance bilateral cooperation, exchange perspectives on various mutual interests, and meet with leaders of the Egyptian community in Russia.
