Egypt’s PM Mostafa Madboli explained in a speech before the newly-elected parliament, Monday the government achievements from 2018 to 2020.
“You have been keen, Mr. President, since people have entrusted you, that our Armed Forces remain strong and supplied with the latest weapons and technology.
“First of all, I call on all Egyptians to be keen on exercising their constitutional right to choose their representatives in the second parliamentary chamber,” Abdel Aal told Alaa Thabet, Al Ahram’s editor-in-chief.
Laws regulating the performance of the press media organisations stipulate that new heads will be sworn in before parliament before they can exercise their duties.

House of Representatives Speaker Ali Abdel Aal arrived in Juba early Monday on a five-day official visit for talks on means of promoting South Sudan peace and stability.
Abdel Aal made the remarks during his meeting with a visiting high-level delegation of the Yemeni parliament under its Speaker Sultan al-Burkani on Tuesday.
Abdel Aal considered the meeting as extension of the positive momentum witnessed in the relations between the two countries.
