Counselor Assem Ghaiesh was sworn in as the new head of the Court of Cassation, while Counselor Osama Shalaby took the oath as the head of the Egyptian State Council, according to a statement from the Presidency.
Approved by the Egyptian president, Egyptian Assistant Foreign Minister for European Affairs Badr Abdel Ati handed over the order to Kveck, a statement by the Foreign Ministry on Thursday read.
President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi bestowed the Order of the Republic of the First Class on former Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Colonel General Mahmoud Hegazy.
President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi awarded French Minister of Defense Jean-Yves Le Drian the Order of the Republic, First Class, on Tuesday.
