Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities announced retrieving Egyptian artifacts from Whanganui Regional Museum & Southland Museum in New Zealand.

Egypt retrieved the smuggled artifacts as per the 1970 Convention on the Means of Prohibiting and Preventing the Illicit Import, Export and Transfer of Ownership of Cultural Property.
