Emir of Qatar
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian expressed regret to the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and to the brotherly Qatari people for the damages caused by the attack that targeted Al-Udeid Air Base.
Egypt and Qatar issued a joint statement on Monday following Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s visit to Doha and meeting with Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani said that he discussed on Monday with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi strengthening relations between Doha and Cairo along with current developments in the region and Gaza.
Sheikh Tamim resides in the same hotel where the Pope stays in Budapest. They met by chance in the reception hall of the hotel.
President Abdel Fattah al Sisi made a phone call with Emir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad ibn Khalifa Al Thani, as they discussed the two countries’ relations and recent developments within the region.
Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani is set to visit Putrajaya, Malaysia in September.
