The program, implemented between 2023 and 2025 under KOICA’s flagship Capacity Improvement & Advancement for Tomorrow (CIAT) fellowship, trained ministry officials.
The project will be implemented through the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in partnership with Egypt’s Productivity and Vocational Training Department (PVTD).
This was highlighted during a meeting between Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and KOICA President Chang Wonsam, marking the first visit of a KOICA president to Egypt since 2009.
This is his first official trip to Egypt since KOICA began partnering with the Egyptian government.
The $8 million project aims to supply the Egyptian labor market with a skilled workforce qualified to carry out jobs.
