In his separate call with Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, the two ministers discussed the rapidly escalating tensions in the region and the serious risks they pose to regional peace and stability, as well as ongoing diplomatic efforts to de-escalate the situation and return to negotiations.
Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi has revealed that complex discussions are currently underway to formulate a long-term arrangement guaranteeing freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz.
