Sudan Truce
Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and his Algerian counterpart, Ahmed Attaf, reviewed the track of negotiations between the United States and Iran, the Egyptian ministry said in a statement.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr Abdelatty and Minister of State at Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al-Khulaifi urged intensified Arab action to help restore regional security and stability.
Egypt outlines its firm position on the Sudan crisis: support for Sudan’s unity and territorial integrity, preservation of its national institutions, and rejection of any efforts to undermine its sovereignty, divide the country or establish parallel governing bodies.
They expressed opposition to the logic of escalation and the use of force.
The discussions took place during a meeting between Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and US Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau, focusing on political and economic cooperation alongside developments in Gaza, Sudan, the Horn of Africa and Egypt’s water security.
