Palestinian Technocratic Committee
Hamas affirmed Wednesday its readiness to transfer governance of the Gaza Strip to a Palestinian technocratic committee, while demanding the reopening of the Rafah crossing without Israeli interference.
He described the reopening of the crossing as a significant step, stressing that Gaza is moving toward a “brighter future” and urging broad local and international cooperation.
The National Committee for the Administration of Gaza (NCAG), formed as part of the second phase of US President Donald Trump’s peace plan for Gaza, is responsible for managing daily life in Gaza during a transition period after the two-year Israeli war.
Rashad emphasized Egypt’s firm commitment to ensuring the success of the committee’s work and providing full support to enable it to carry out its assigned responsibilities in Gaza.
Abdelatty highlighted Egypt’s efforts to consolidate the ceasefire in Gaza and called for the rapid establishment of the international stabilization force to carry out its responsibilities in the territory under the resolution.
