Egyptian Embassy in Mali
The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement late on Friday that the embassy coordinated closely with Malian authorities and the Malian Air Force command to facilitate the safe return of the two citizens.
The ministry emphasized that Egyptians in Mali should keep their identification documents handy and reduce unnecessary movements. It warned against travel from the capital, Bamako, to other cities or regions.
