Sudanese Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris expressed his pleasure following a meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, emphasizing the deep fraternal relations between the two nations and a mutual commitment to enhancing cooperation.
Egypt and Sudan on Thursday reaffirmed their rejection of any unilateral measures in the Eastern Nile Basin that could harm their water interests, urging Ethiopia to abandon such actions.
The prime minister emphasized Egypt’s firm backing for Sudan’s unity, territorial integrity and national institutions.
As he received Sudan’s Transitional Prime Minister Kamil Idris on Thursday, Sisi reiterated Egypt’s firm and unwavering position in support of Sudan’s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
