Tactical Pauses
The Israeli army reportedly started airdropping aid in Gaza as part of a plan it announced on Saturday, which also includes a 10-hour pauses in hostilities in three areas cross Gaza and establishing humanitarian corridors to facilitate UN aid deliveries.
The ERC posted photos for the convoy, dubbed “Zad Al-Izzah: From Egypt to Gaza,” while moving toward the enclave. The aid comprises around 840 tons of flour and 450 tons of various food baskets, the ERC said in a statement.
The “tactical pause” will start on Sunday and last from 10 AM to 8 PM local time every day until further notice, the Israeli army noted in a statement on X.
