The Arab Parliament has strongly condemned the European Parliament's statement on the Egyptian presidential elections, expressing its complete rejection of all forms of interference by the European Parliament in the internal affairs of Arab countries.
The session is set to discuss a number of issues, including political and security developments in the Arab region.
According to Assoumi, reaching permeant peace and stability in the region requires rallying international efforts to resume the moribund Middle East peace process.
