El-Sisi reviewed Egypt’s efforts to implement the Gaza ceasefire agreement and the related UN Security Council resolution, reaffirming Egypt’s firm position that a two-state solution is the only path to lasting peace and stability in the Middle East.
El-Sisi expressed Egypt’s strong interest in expanding South Korean companies’ operations and investments across key priority sectors, including ICT and automotive manufacturing, during his meeting with the South Korean leader.
As he welcomed South Korean President Lee Jae Myung on Thursday, El-Sisi highlighted the investment guarantees, incentives, and competitive advantages offered by the Egyptian market.
The university said the visit opens new prospects for academic and research partnerships, and supports collaboration in advanced industries, technology transfer, and capacity-building, the university said in a statement.
The two leaders held joint talks to explore ways to strengthen cooperation between Egypt and South Korea in economic, technological, and cultural fields.
The talks will cover various aspects of bilateral relations between Egypt and South Korea, according to the Egyptian Presidency.
Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration, and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs, Badr Abdelatty received on Tuesday, Park Beom-kye, the Special Envoy of South Korean President Lee Jae-myung as part of supporting bilateral relations between the two friendly countries in various fields.
