East Nile Monorail
The East Nile Monorail welcomed passengers on Friday with half-price tickets as part of an initiative launched by the Ministry of Transport to encourage the use of smart, environmentally friendly transportation and provide citizens with an opportunity to visit landmarks in the New Administrative Capital.
In a significant step aimed at encouraging citizens to visit the New Administrative Capital and explore its modern landmarks, the Ministry of Transport has announced a 50% discount on full-fare tickets for passengers using the first phase of the East Nile Monorail.
The East Nile Monorail continues to welcome citizens free of charge for the third consecutive day, amid a large turnout from residents of New Cairo and the New Administrative Capital celebrating the opening of the first phase of this massive national project.
The Egyptian Ministry of Transport announced Wednesday the installation of the first monorail on the East Nile monorail track, in the New Administrative Capital in front of the Al-Massa Hotel.
