Al-Ahly doctor Khaled Mahmoud announced the difficulty of Ramadan Sobhi, Al-Ahly's wing participation against Pyramids in the Egyptian league.

"We are waiting for Ramadan to return to examine him to confirm the degree of healing rupture, but he will be away from facing Pyramids," Mahmoud told reporters after the team's training.

He added, "Ramadan Sobhi still needs more time to complete his medical readiness. The player has not finished implementing his rehabilitation program to recover from a back muscle injury."

"The recent x-rays made by Ramadan proved the healing rupture well, but the player still needs more time to declare his readiness. Ramadan Sobhi will undergo a medical examination in the next team's training, in order to check on his condition and complete his qualification program."

Ramadan has been absent from Al-Ahly for 6 weeks due to a rupture in the posterior muscle.

As for Ahmed Fathi, Mahmoud said: "Fathi performed a session in the gym on Monday after he had an ankle injury in Sudan, and he will undergo a rehabilitation program and we will follow up with him in the next two days to clarify his position."

Mahmoud confirmed the readiness of Yasser Ibrahim, who participated in the team's training on Monday, after stitches were made for the player who suffered a head bruise that caused a wound in the Sudanese Al-Hilal match.

Another winger, Junior Ajayi, was subject to a cold, and on Tuesday, he will participate in the team's training, according to Mahmoud.

Al-Ahly qualified for the quarter-finals of the African Champions League after drawing 1-1 with Al-Hilal Al-Sudan in Khartoum 1-1, as runners-up to ES Sahel in the first group.

Al-Ahly is preparing to face Pyramids next Thursday in the sixteenth round of the Premier League competition.

Al-Ahly is top of the Premier League trip with 36 points, collecting them in 12 consecutive games.
