CAIRO - 2 January 2020: Al-Ahly club regained the top of the league standings after continuing their victories and raising their score to win the 9th victory in a row in the local competition.

Al-Salam stadium witnessed Al-Ahly 2-0 victory over Misr Al Makassah in the 11th round of the Premier League competition.

Al-Ahly raised their score to 27 points in the top of the league standings from 9 games, and Misr Al Makassah balance frozen at 9 points in the 15th position.

Al-Ahly's goals were scored by Ali Maaloul, from a penalty kick in the 74th minute, and Mohamed Magdi "Afsha" in the 80th minute of the match's events.

Rene Fyler pushed the duo Walid Suleiman and Geraldo instead of Ahmed Sheikh and Mohamed Hani, to return Fathi to his natural position in the right back, and Maaloul also returns to lead the left front.
