Al Ahly target signing Luzern's striker

After Rene Weiler nominated him and the board was convinced of him, Al-Ahly began on Sunday to move to include Luzern striker, Blessing Eleke.

Eleke is the first target in the winter transfer market for Al-Ahly coach Weiler, who hopes the Nigerian will be the next striker for the Egyptian Premier League title holder; Just as he was his first striker before.

Al-Ahly is currently seeking to reach an agreement with the player, and to know the requests of Luzern.

The 23-year-old Eleke has played in Luzern July 2018, as a striker and can take part in the wing position.

This season, he played 21 games, scored 3 goals and made one assist.



He scored two goals in the Swiss League from 15 games, scored one goal during two games in the Swiss Cup, and one assist in 4 matches in the European League.

Eleke has so far participated in 60 games with Luzern, scored 20 goals and made 6 assists.

Eleke played 183 games throughout his career, scoring 54 goals and sending 20 assists.

He started his career in Flying Sports in Nigeria before moving to Slovenia Gorica in the summer of 2014 and two years later he moved to Slovenia Olympia.
